MSISDN = Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number
What is MSISDN?
MSIDN is the unique number for a mobile phone user that make it possible to identify every single user in world separately. In general day to day life we often call this as the “Mobile Number” or ‘Phone Number”
An MSISDN carries 3 parts. The first part of the number is the Country Code (CC), second part is the operator code and the last part is the phone number of that operator.

Here, 88 is country code of Bangladesh, 017 is the operator code for Grameenphone and 12345678 is the unique number for a connection or SIM. This full number is unique in the whole word and cannot be duplicated.
Usually the length of Country code 1 to 3digits, Operator code is 1 to 3 digits, and the rest can go upto 15 digits. For Bangladesh, an MSISDN contains 13 digits in total.
