Short Message Service, most commonly known as SMS, is a system for almost all types of telephony services, that exchanges text contents from one sender telephone device to a recipient telephone device. A standard communication protocol is used for exchanging SMS texts between mobile phones. Normally one single sms contains 160 alpha numeric characters.
