What is Subscriber Base?

Subscriber base is the total number of active subscriber of a telco company in a stated period of time. This is often shortened and most commonly said as “Sub Base”. Sub base does not always refer to the number of people using the service, rather it refers to the number of SIM that are active in the area of operation of the telco company.

Example:

The subscriber base of Telco “A” is 2 Million. It means that there are 2 million active SIMs of telco “A”.
